If absolutely reliable wifi isn't critical, definitely consider this motel. Room is small but otherwise had everything that I needed: comfortable bed and pillows, good heat for a cold night, microwave and small fridge, abundant hot water with good pressure. Right off a busy highway but when heater/ac is turned on, device serves as a sound machine and I didn't hear highway traffic. Bed linens were comparable to those I've had in higher-priced hotels. I slept very well. Very clean, no bugs, and the price was super! Deducted one star for the intermittent wifi.

I liked the quietness of the room, provision of a refrigerator and microwave, and the refrigerator was set at the correct temperature to keep things cold without freezing them (often a problem in other motels), and perfectly adequate (if dated) furniture, including a comfortable bed, shower and convenience of parking right outside my room.

The rooms were clean and maintained. It is an older motel of the motor inn age where you can park your bike directly in front of the room. The beds could be a little more comfortable, but they were okay. Staff was excellent. We even had a small fridge in our room.

The location was perfect as I was already traveling on Rt 54. The motel was happily reminiscent of all those wonderful 'roadside' motels we frequented as a family when I was a child, traversing the country. I couldn't have been happier with the place.
